Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II 16.7MP Digital SLR Camera: By Peter Albrektsen

Great Camera. Here is what I feel are the pros and cons of the Camera.

Pros: 16.7 megapixels, more than most people need. Super long battery life. Super strong, water resistant body. Both SD and CF card readers.

Cons: Just about the heaviest camera out there. When photographing people, the skin tone comes out looking a little bit pale.

Technique:
I like using the Av (aperture priority mode) the most. This lets me control how in or out of focus I want the background to be. When I am using this setting, I like to make sure the shutter speed is set to 1/125 of a second or above so I can be sure the image will no be blurry. As well, I make sure that the iso is set at 50 if possible to reduce the noise as much as possible. When I shoot for stock photography this very important. Pictures with lots of noise are sure to be rejected.
